Anna Baker, LCSW, CPRP

About

I am a humanistic social worker and neurodivergent-affirming therapist. My practice is grounded in social justice, integrity, and the belief that you should never have to mask, minimize, or explain away your identity just to receive support.

I specialize in working with LGBTQ+, neurodivergent, and highly sensitive individuals who are navigating trauma, burnout, anxiety, or major life transitions. Whether you are entering therapy for the first time or seeking a better fit after an unsupportive past experience, I offer a collaborative, transparent space where your lived experience is fully respected.

Outside of the therapy room, I am an avid reader, letter writer, cat lover, and public transportation enthusiast. I genuinely believe that the things that bring us joy, connection, curiosity, and a sense of belonging are an important part of building a life that feels authentic.

My Approach

Therapy with me combines deep relational care with concrete, practical tools. Integrating narrative, emotion-focused, and dialectical therapies, we work together to:

  • Regulate your nervous system and build sustainable inner world.

  • Set actionable goals to move forward with clarity, purpose, and structure.

  • Shift your internal dialogue by heightening awareness of how you speak to yourself.

  • Strengthen relationships by breaking negative cycles and deepening emotional connection.

I recognize how power, identity, and positionality shape our daily lives, and I am committed to walking alongside you as you build a grounded, authentic life on your own terms.
